Commission a Portrait

To commission a portrait you will need to supply good clear photograph(s) of your subject(s).
A photograph taken outside in natural light, in focus and with as little detail in the background as possible is the most ideal for us to work from. The higher the resolution of the photograph the better as the more detail that can be seen the more can be included in the final portrait.

One of the best reasons to have your portrait hand painted is that we include only the information you want in the painting; eliminating any background noise from your photograph and focussing on the subject in high detail. We are also able to create one picture from several photographs producing a 'group portrait' However, this does depend on the quality and harmony of the images provided, please see our FAQ section for more details.

You can supply your photograph(s) in several ways, the most common and by far easiest is via email. This will obviously depend on the size of the image so, as we prefer the best quality, high resoultion pictures to work from, if email is not possible don't worry we will always find a way of getting the information we require.

If you would like more information or have any queries please use the form on the contact us page, we will endeavour to respond to your email as soon as possible.
